dear tinkerbell, i have fairy delusions and i need your help. thank you.

I try so hard to be badass. I really do. I fail miserably, but every single time, I get back up and try again. And then I meet a dress like this.

And my badass farce goes out the window.

But I don’t think I can be blamed here. I mean. Look at it.

Though I can be blamed for wearing a ring like that. That’s a crime against badass-ness right there. In broad daylight. And I have no excuse for it.

And I definitely take the blame for putting on a cardigan over it.

A cardigan? That’s just wrong on so many levels.

Though I won’t be too hard on myself about that necklace… Mostly because:

Yes that’s a real life charm bracelet and that’s a quilted handbag…

… with three different quilt prints and matching monster wedges.

All I can say in my defense is that the fairies made me do it.

catching dreams and other in-congruencies

Growing up I spent my summers in Maryland. There’s a funny fact about Maryland that I don’t think anyone’s ever noticed before. There are an awful lot of stores around there selling dreamcatchers. Thus began a life long fascination with the things. What *are* they? And isn’t that a seriously odd concept? Why would you ever want to catch a dream? Aren’t they supposed to be free?

There you go- getting philosophical about deep questions relating to dream catchers (and why *are* there so many in an odd place like Maryland anyway?). It’s (a big word for today) incongruent.

In fact- this is a post of incongruities. Such as: why wear badass fatigue shorts with fancy heels?

Or why would you wear a sparkly cuff bangle on one hand and wooden beads on the other?

Or why would you try to look thoughtful and aloof when you are so obviously not?

Some mysteries will never be solved.

Till then stop reading my blabbering and go catch some of your own dreams.
