catching dreams and other in-congruencies

Growing up I spent my summers in Maryland. There’s a funny fact about Maryland that I don’t think anyone’s ever noticed before. There are an awful lot of stores around there selling dreamcatchers. Thus began a life long fascination with the things. What *are* they? And isn’t that a seriously odd concept? Why would you ever want to catch a dream? Aren’t they supposed to be free?

There you go- getting philosophical about deep questions relating to dream catchers (and why *are* there so many in an odd place like Maryland anyway?). It’s (a big word for today) incongruent.

In fact- this is a post of incongruities. Such as: why wear badass fatigue shorts with fancy heels?

Or why would you wear a sparkly cuff bangle on one hand and wooden beads on the other?

Or why would you try to look thoughtful and aloof when you are so obviously not?

Some mysteries will never be solved.

Till then stop reading my blabbering and go catch some of your own dreams.

Disclaimer defamer: Because I run the diaries on a really tight budget, items featured don’t always strictly belong to me. Some are borrowed from friends. Some are bought and exchanged. Some are mine. Nothing is endorsed, but I don’t actually have a never ending supply of new stuff. Outfits featured are done so for the purpose of being (hopefully) an inspirational springboard. Just so you know. For more info on where I take these picture see Truth.

Dreacatchers are weird, judging on their purpose! But they can be a great accessory to a perfect outfit like yours! I love the combination of colours and their repetitiveness in all these pieces!!!!
